People talk about disability all the time. Too often in whispers, assumptions and limitations.

Ahead of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, we took the real comments New Zealand’s Paralympians and Para athletes had heard throughout their lives and turned them into something else: motivation.

We’ll Give You Something To Talk About put the athletes - not their disabilities - at the centre of the conversation. Across film, outdoor, radio, digital and social, the words once used to diminish them became the fuel for their extraordinary performances.

The campaign reached millions of New Zealanders, helped lift the NZ Paralympic Team from sixth to fourth among the country’s most-loved sports brands, and was recognised with the International Paralympic Committee’s 2025 Community Impact Award.
